Shift Description
Work as part of a care team setting with a combination of solo and shared visits. Visits consist of routine follow up, cardiac pre-op risk assessments, testing follow-ups, and acute follow-ups. No call.

Qualifications
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experienced Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants are strongly preferred.
About the Role
MercyOne Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the US. Services include General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. The center has an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program, advanced imaging, and a destination LVAD program. Iowa Heart Center operates 8 primary office locations and attends 28 outreach facilities across Iowa. The clinic participates in major STS registries and performs over 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.
