About the Role
Our client is seeking an App Development Project Manager to lead application development projects from planning through delivery. This role will partner closely with Business Analysts, development teams, QA, design teams, and business stakeholders to manage timelines, coordinate project activities, track progress, and drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly take ownership, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment. This position is W-2 only.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple application development projects through the full project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting
- Coordinate activities between Business Analysts, developers, QA, design teams, and business stakeholders
- Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Maintain project status, schedules, and documentation using Jira and Microsoft Office tools
- Hold project teams accountable for deliverables and follow up on outstanding action items
- Balance multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
- Present project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Project Management experience supporting application development or software delivery projects
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and timeline management experience
- Hands-on experience with Jira
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering closely with Business Analysts throughout the SDLC
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and application delivery
- Understanding of APIs, web services, or application integrations
- SQL experience
- Experience with ALM or other defect tracking tools
- Exposure to UI/UX collaboration or design teams

Work Environment
Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC
Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is between $50 and $60/hr.
