APKWS Production - Operations Program Manager II
Job Description
In Precision Guided Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art sensors and guidance kits that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Our team is currently looking for an Operations Program Manager (OPM II) for the APKWS Production Program. The APKWS Production Program is responsible for over $250M in annual sales revenue. The APKWS production factory is in Hudson, NH and will be undergoing a significant increase in production rate next year. This high visibility position will be responsible for production execution of the APKWS Program in NH, as well as managing our CCA feeder factory out of Austin, TX.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers
- Understanding of Lean and Six-Sigma principles
- Diplomatic, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and report status of projects within a project management discipline
- Provides leadership consistent with the Mission and BAE Systems Guiding Principles
- Promotes a strong sense of teamwork among personnel supporting various phases of the program efforts
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 year’s work experience in Operations / Supply Chain
- Proposal experience with a focus on cost competitive proposals
- Understanding of Lean and Six-Sigma principles
- Proficiency in office technologies including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
- Proficiency with continuous process improvement methodologies and tool; strong group facilitation skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
