API Test Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test suites for APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.
• Identify and document potential risks and issues related to API testing.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover new bugs and improve product quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in API testing.
• Proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with backend systems.
• Experience with API security testing and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Knowledge of API testing frameworks and tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
