What You’ll Do
- Provide Tank QA inspection services at various client facilities.
- Quality assurance of field and clerical activities including inspection and repair.
- Affirm that customer and code-driven requirements are met.
- Witness/audit of Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) activities, ensuring qualified personnel are using proper tools in good condition and employing correct techniques.
- Affirm that Quality Control packages are properly assembled and assembled in a timely manner as the tank work progresses.
- Coordinate with client project managers on various tank repair projects.
- Act as Tank Entry Supervisor on various tank activities.
- Review drawings with repair contractors; ensure repairs are performed per drawings, per API code.
- Affirm that projects are completed on time and safely.
- Cook up with various contractors throughout the project, moving contractors in and out.
- Perform walkthroughs with client field departments to confirm adequate repairs were completed.
- Track manpower on all active projects daily.
- Track progress on all active projects daily.
- Perform monthly DOT visual inspections.
- Keep track of all DOT paperwork throughout the duration of the job.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Current API 653 certification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledgeable in midstream/gas plant/NGL type equipment.
- Familiarity with in-service and out-of-service tank inspection.
- Able to work independently.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.
- TWIC card.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft software, and various IDMS platforms.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
- Additional API certifications (API 510/570) and/or CWI certification.
- API Tank Entry Supervisor (TES) certification.
- Additional certifications (NACE, ACI).
- ACAD experience.
- Relevant inspection certifications such as RT, UTSW, MT, PT, ET, IR, TOFD, PA, VT Level II.
