APEX Developer

About the role

The role involves developing and maintaining Oracle Apex applications within a large team setting. Collaboration with DevOps and server administrators is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle Apex applications using newer versions (18.2 or higher).
• Collaborate with the architecture team to follow coding standards and best practices.
• Work with backend database design and development, including creating packages, procedures, functions, materialized views, and complex SQL queries.
• Utilize JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as jQuery and Oracle JET to develop modern UIs.
• Integrate with CSS classes and JavaScript events within SQL to meet functionality requirements.
• Manage and remodel legacy data models for HR management systems.
• Resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Apex.
• Strong knowledge of APEX Universal Theme and its usage.
• Proficiency in JavaScript libraries/frameworks like jQuery and Oracle JET.
• Extensive knowledge of REST APIs and Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS).
• Good understanding of XML, JSON, DOM structures.
• Strong working knowledge in PL/SQL and Application Express API.
• Experience in Oracle 11g/12c databases and their design and development.
• Experience in ETL, data load processes, and data migration.
• Experience in custom plug-in development and APEX database installation/troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Oracle Apex development.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems creatively and analytically.
