About the role
An Arcade Attendant is responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding guest service expectations while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. Attendants assist guests in various areas and capacities, following Red Hawk’s high standards of quality guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
- Conduct redemption inventory and ensure displays are completely full.
- Perform minor repairs on games; explain operation of games to guests.
- Notify Game Techs of any machine errors and return game play credit to guests.
- Actively look for ways to help and interact with guests; pay attention to detail and understand basic game and simulator operations.
- Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences.
- Maintain constant working knowledge of product, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co-workers.
- Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday.
- Work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
- The work environment may include bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Be able to understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.
