Apartment Turn Over Painter

About the role

The Apartment Turnover Painter is responsible for completing painting projects and paint repairs throughout the community, including apartment unit turnarounds, to ensure units are move-in ready and meet established quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Affords assistance in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.
• Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building painting.
• Performs maintenance painting of walls, doors, door frames, baseboards, ceilings, floors repairs, including texture painting, refinishing, etc.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must function under general supervision.
• Must be flexible and have integrity.
• Must possess the ability of effectively work with residents and staff.

Requirements

• High School or GED.
• Possess 1 year experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or painting preferred.
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired.
• Have knowledge of knock down and orange peel techniques.

Pay

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday Day Shift.
