What You'll Do As An Apartment Porter We're looking for an experienced Apartment Porter who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment. In this role, you will:Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including hallways, lobbies, breezeways, and recreational spacesPerform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfacesCollect, remove, and properly dispose of trash from designated areas throughout the communityKeep outdoor areas clean by picking up litter, blowing debris, watering plants, and maintaining walkwaysAssist with light maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting needed repairsSupport residents by offering courteous assistance when needed (e.g., package or furniture help)Monitor the community for safety hazards, maintenance needs, or security concerns and report promptlyFollow all company policies and safety guidelinesWork collaboratively with the maintenance and office teams to support daily operations What We're Looking For Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detailAbility to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditionsPositive attitude and professional demeanorAbility to lift and carry items as needed for cleaning and grounds tasksValid driver's license and reliable transportationPrevious porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plusImportant: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate. Working Environment This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying items as part of daily porter responsibilities. Work is performed both indoors and within community common areas. All employees must comply with the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
