About the role
Join us as a Apartment Maintenance Technician and perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks. You will follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
Responsibilities
- Prepare apartments for move-in
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units
- Maintain and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures
- Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repairs
- Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule
- Follow up with residents after repairs are complete
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair
- HVAC experience required
- EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
- Pool Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
