Apartment Maintenance Technician

Monarch Investment and Management Group is a top 10, family-owned multifamily housing company with 30 years of experience. We’re looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Breckenridge Apartments in Fairborn, OH.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Handle exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Maintain property grounds and assist with snow removal
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation (every 3rd week)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• 6+ months of apartment maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• EPA Universal Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances, including washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties during the interview process

Pay

• $18–$21 per hour
• $100 bonus for on-call weeks (minimum 1.5 hours paid for emergencies)
• Quarterly bonuses up to $750 ($3,000 annually)

Schedule

• 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call every 3rd week
