About the role
Join the WPM Real Estate Management Team! The Springs Townhomes, located in Parkville, MD, is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help maintain the community, ensure resident satisfaction, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers)
- Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Availability for after-hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC experience/certification preferred
Pay
Competitive Pay – $24/hour (based on experience) + phone allowance
