Apartment Maintenance Tech- Hampton Point

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Pay

$24 per hour (based on experience) plus a phone allowance.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers).
• Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency repairs.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands‑on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Availability for after‑hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC experience or certification preferred.
