Apartment Locator (Real Estate Sales)
About the role
We’re looking for incredible humans to join the founding team of Smart City Phoenix! Smart City is an apartment locating company established in Texas in 2013. Since then, we’ve expanded to new cities and employ over 400 agents nationwide. We're launching in Phoenix to support Arizonan renters by removing the complexity and mystery of the apartment hunting process.
Our marketing and CX teams generate leads (check us out @smartcityapts on Instagram and TikTok). You’ll chat with renters, learn their needs, tour apartments with them, and help them lease their next place. The client pays rent, the apartment complex pays you, and our service remains free to the client—win/win/win.
Responsibilities
- Manage the client relationship from initial inquiry to lease signing
- Communicate with clients via text, phone, and email as their go-to person
- Build hyper-personalized apartment lists based on client preferences
- Tour properties, collaborate with leasing agents, and secure leases for clients

Requirements
- Willingness to complete Arizona Real Estate License coursework within 4 weeks of your offer (we’ll guide you)
- A laptop (MacBook strongly encouraged) for on-the-go work
- An iPhone (our custom CRM’s mobile app is iOS-only)
- Comfort with local travel around Phoenix for property tours
Pay
This role is commission-based. Full-time agents averaging 8–12 leased clients per month earn between $70K–$100K+ annually. Top performers exceed $100K.
