About the role
The role involves managing apartment maintenance tasks, ensuring the property is in good condition, and interacting with residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and landscaping.
- Respond to resident requests and complaints promptly.
- Document all work performed and communicate with property management.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in home maintenance or similar field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of common home repair techniques.
- Experience with basic HVAC systems.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic computer literacy.
