Apartment Groundskeeper

Location: Arlington Village Apartments, 1733 Arlin Place, Fairborn, OH 45324

Join us as a full-time Apartment Groundskeeper and take pride in keeping common areas, hallways, and amenities spotless while supporting light outdoor upkeep and make-ready tasks. This hands-on position keeps you moving and working in all weather, helping residents feel proud of where they live.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (no weekends, no evenings, paid holidays)

Pay

$18 an hour + up to a $750 quarterly bonuses

Responsibilities

• Perform all work under safety procedures in the Safety Program and within OSHA standards
• Daily trash removal from all public exterior areas (dumpster areas, driveways, parking lots, curbs, exterior hallways, playgrounds, sport courts)
• Spring cleanup: flower beds, planting flowers, raking, aerating, fertilizing, weed control in accordance with local laws
• Fall cleanup: leaf raking and flowerbed preparation
• Light/basic tree and bush trimming
• Snow removal (when applicable)
• Assist maintenance staff with tasks including preventative maintenance, moving appliances, inspections
• Issue pet violation notices in accordance with MIMG policy (when applicable)
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
• Treat all employees and residents courteously
• Perform additional functions as requested by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to the Property Manager

Requirements

• General knowledge of light maintenance, organization, and cleaning practices
• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance or willingness to learn within 15 days
• General irrigation knowledge or willingness to learn (preferred)
• Team player with a sense of professionalism and understanding of customer service
• Pre-employment screenings including a criminal background check and drug screening
