Responsibilities

• Prepare and restore vacant apartments for new resident move-ins
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance and repairs
• Repair or service items such as sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, and fixtures
• Change bulbs; replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, and damaged hardware
• Inspect locks, keys, and weather stripping; re-key or repair as needed
• Complete interior and exterior painting and caulking
• Perform light drywall repairs including patching, texturing, sanding and finishing
• Assist with grounds upkeep including trash pickup, blowing breezeways, pressure washing, and maintaining clean common areas
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completion
• Uphold safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the community

Requirements

• Prior apartment make ready experience required
• Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilities
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
• Dependability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate
• Role requires regular physical activity including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying items; ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Work performed both indoors and within community common areas
• Must comply with company uniform policy (provided on first day)

Pay

Salary Range: $18-$20/hour
