AP & Job Cost Accountant
About the role
The AP & Job Cost Accountant processes job cost accounts payable, job cost reports, and maintains related functions for the Construction Services team. This role also administers billbacks on behalf of the Construction Division for work completed internally on jobs and projects for the organization.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Accounts Payable or Job Costing
- Experience with accounting in the construction industry is preferred
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting is highly preferred
- Proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
- Able to organize and prioritize between multiple projects, as well as identify and correct any adjustments deemed necessary
- Able to analyze invoices for proper job cost coding
- Able to organize/analyze information to prepare summarized journal entries from payroll reports
