AP Accountant II

Responsibilities

• Work independently across assigned AP activities without requiring regular direction
• Exercise judgment in handling complex or non-standard invoices and exceptions - determining the appropriate course of action rather than defaulting to escalation
• Own outcomes within your scope, including follow-through on exceptions, reconciliations and open items
• Manage vendor relationships within your entity scope - responding to queries, resolving disputes and maintaining accurate vendor records
• Identify when an issue requires escalation and frame it clearly before doing so
• Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and AP aging review
• Share knowledge with AP Accountant I colleagues and support their development informally
• Recognize patterns in recurring issues and raise them proactively

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience, including 3–5 years focused specifically on Accounts Payable, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of AP activities end-to-end
• Experience with full-cycle AP including vendor management, reconciliations and month-end
• Solid working knowledge of an ERP system - NetSuite strongly preferred
• Comfortable handling multi-currency transactions and working across different legal entities
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of owning deadlines and controls
• Excellent written and verbal English - English is our primary working language and the expected standard of communication throughout the team

Qualifications

• Experience with Zip or Blackline (will be considered an added bonus)
• Exposure to a tech or high-growth company environment (will be considered an added bonus)
• Additional language skills relevant to entity coverage (will be considered an added bonus)

Pay

• Base Compensation Range: $75,000—$100,000 USD
