Job Duties

• Greets members
• Helps members load order onto conveyor belt
• Determines member packing preferences
• Answers questions
• Relates information on special promotions
• Thanks members
• Affords items left in cart
• Checks packaging for tampering
• Follows safety and security procedures
• Performs set up and closing duties for the department
• Maintains cleanliness of register area and general front-end area
• Cleans spills and trip hazards immediately
• Transfers pallets of merchandise from the receiving area to the steel shelves and bulk wall for storage
• Stocks products
• Clears sales floor debris
• Observes and ensures correct product signage
• Creates computer-generated signs
• Limits unmarked product with item number
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials
• Affords other department duties as necessary
• Affords assistance in other departments of the warehouse as necessary

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
