About the role

Actively greets members, provides a high level of member service, performs clean up, department set-up and closing tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and help load orders onto the conveyor belt
• Determine member packing preferences and answer questions
• Relate information on special promotions and thank members
• Assist the cashier by counting items left in carts, checking under items, and positioning items for scanning
• Pack member orders into boxes and load to a separate cart or flatbed
• Check packaging for tampering and follow all safety and security procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of the register area and general front-end area; clean spills and trip hazards immediately
• Perform set-up and closing duties such as returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers, and cleaning the area
• Transfer pallets of merchandise from the receiving area to steel shelves, bulk walls, or directly to the sales floor
• Assist with stocking, clear sales floor debris, ensure correct product signage, and create computer-generated signs
• Label unmarked products with item numbers and ensure proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials
• Assist with department duties and other warehouse departments as necessary
• Operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery as required

Requirements

• Ability to work open availability to meet business needs
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States upon hire
