About the role

Morrison Foerster antitrust lawyers are recognized leaders in the courtroom, the boardroom, and the halls of government. We are trial lawyers who have a knack for resolving complex antitrust cases through dispositive motions, but are capable of taking any case to trial. We are strategic counselors who partner with our clients to develop business strategies to enhance their competitiveness. We are agency experts who draw on a deep well of experience, including service as high-level officials, to obtain successful results in criminal and civil investigations and merger reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Taking/defending depositions
  • Drafting court filings
  • Managing large-scale investigations
  • Developing business strategies for enhanced competitiveness
  • Participating in criminal and civil investigations and merger reviews

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated interest in civil litigation
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of Antitrust matters
  • Prior experience in a leading law firm or relevant government agency
  • Strong work ethic paired with excellent leadership skills
  • Commitment to delivering top-notch client service
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Earned excellent academic credentials
  • Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in

Qualifications

  • Background in M&A, HSR, merger compliance, and transactional counseling
  • Experience in a leading law firm or relevant government agency
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills

New York, NY annual salary range: $260,000-$365,000
Washington, DC annual salary range: $260,000-$365,000
