Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university
• Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment
• General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies
• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations
• A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting preferred
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a current automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR certificate
• Experience as a coach in more than one sport preferred
• Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities

Terms Of Employment

• Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
• Salary Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees
• Additional athletic stipend as approved
