Anticipated Middle School Language Arts Teacher position for the 2026–2027 school year (8/27/2026 – 6/30/2027).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education Instructional Certificate (e.g., English, or Elementary with Subject-Matter Specialization: Language Arts Literacy Grades 5–8)
- Dual certification in Special Education preferred
- Working knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for English
- High-level skills in collecting data and anecdotal notes to document student growth and guide differentiated, targeted instruction for all learners
- Knowledge of research-based and responsive practices in English/Language Arts
- Experience with Google for Education and integrating technology to enhance instruction
- Knowledge and evidence of implementing responsive practices to support an inclusive environment
- Understanding of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
Pay
Salary range: $60,673 – $122,533, terms and benefits per the MTEA collective bargaining agreement.
