Anticipated Leave of Absence: Physical Education Teacher: Grades 2-3 (December-January)

Teach Physical Education courses which are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Physical Education. See attached job description for details.

Schedule

Position is from December 14th–January 26th.

Compensation

For long-term substitute assignments, pay rates increase progressively over the course of the leave, provided there is no break in service:

• Days 1–20: $150 per day
• Days 21–59: $180 per day
• Days 60+: $50,949 (BA/1), prorated

Requirements

• Valid and active Illinois Professional Educator License
• Endorsement in Physical Education
• Knowledge of best practices for physical education instruction
