Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of instruction to students
- Help students organize assignments, monitor progress, and set goals
- Work with students who have language/learning disabilities and autism
- Assist in managing student behaviors
- Adapt to each student’s special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs
- Assist teachers in keeping administrative records and preparing required reports
Pay
Following the established BTEA Salary Guide: $23,080.00 – $26,428.00, based on experience.
