English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and/or Teacher of the Handicapped requiredNJ School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or School Counseling certificate preferredHigh School teaching experience preferredUnderstanding of NJ Student Learning Standards and differentiation of instruction preferredKnowledge of academic intervention strategies preferredExperience with Intervention and Referral Services (strong understanding of effective emotional and academic interventions) preferredAbility to provide social skills support and skill based instruction to students preferredKnowledge of ADA and 504 Accommodation Plans preferredEvidence of effective counseling skills for regular and special education students preferred The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
