Anthropologie Home Associate Designer - Decorative Accessories

Role Responsibilities

  • Create original and visually appealing product designs that align with current market trends and our brand identity
  • Support the design team in preparing materials, boards, and samples for concept and sketch presentations
  • Organize and maintain the sample library, reference materials and color palettes
  • Conduct home & fashion trend and market research and continually push new developments and innovative techniques and materials
  • Produce digital sketches to communicate design ideas and explore creative concepts
  • Aid in sketching under the guidance of senior staff
  • Collaborate with the product development team to assist in the creation of samples and evaluate the execution of sketches
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including concept, product development, merchandising, and marketing, to ensure cohesive storytelling across all channels
  • Help prepare and set up for Line Reviews and cross-functional meetings

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or similar area preferred
  • Entry-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and basic sketching skills
  • Interest in AI programs
  • 2-4 years of industry experience
  • Curiosity about the world around you and design trends in social and media and retail
  • Foundational understanding of design principles and interest in home product construction
  • Extreme attention to detail and strong management and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to learn the retail business and design process in a fast-paced environment
