About the role

Drive the online shopping experience and product presentation for Anthropologie’s home decor and furniture categories. This role blends digital strategy, storytelling, and site maintenance to ensure products are visually compelling and easy to find. The Associate Digital Merchandiser focuses on high-level strategy and cross-functional collaboration while managing an Assistant Merchandiser who handles daily execution.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the overarching digital strategy and manage an Assistant Merchandiser to oversee daily execution.
  • Optimize category pages and Product Detail Pages (PDPs) using sorting algorithms, custom layouts, product recommendation trays, and "complete the look" styling features.
  • Manage site taxonomy, filters, and trend shops to improve navigation; optimize onsite search tools and SEO to help customers find products easily.
  • Coordinate landing pages, gateways, and banners; partner with marketing teams to ensure inventory is available and aligned for featured promotions across email, the homepage, and social media.
  • Oversee daily product activations, campaign launches, and track inventory health for all featured marketing styles.
  • Develop website testing initiatives with partners, analyze performance through regular reporting, and spearhead special projects like integrating new e-commerce technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years related work experience.
  • Ability to interpret data and make strategic merchandising decisions.
  • Achievement oriented with demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Good sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficiency using Google applications.
  • Proactive personality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support the digital channel.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy completing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Interest or knowledge of home interiors, trends, and general understanding of the Anthropologie brand.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
