About the Role

This position involves loading parts ready for anodizing into racks, ensuring proper contact for uniform coating, and securing parts tightly to prevent them from falling during processing. You will also unload parts from rack frames after the finishing process.

Responsibilities

• Move parts from the machine shop to the anodizing area and transport finished goods to assembly.
• Rack parts to rack splines, ensuring good contact and proper racking technique.
• Count and verify part quantities.
• Mark and label materials with appropriate labels.
• Unload and inspect parts from racks after the finishing process.
• Inspect and sort material for scrapping or rework.
• Assist with general housekeeping in the anodizing department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be safety-conscious and promptly report unsafe conditions.
• Familiarity with the Hazard Communication standard.
• Ability to maintain quality while working independently.
• Adherence to safety, 6S, and quality standards.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Constantly (6+ hours): Stand, walk, twist/turn, stoop/bend, squat, kneel.
• Frequently (3 to 6 hours): Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with proper use of equipment, machines, and tools.
• Prevent objects from falling and use correct lifting postures.
• Always wear required PPE in specified areas.
• Do not remove, disable, or tamper with machine guarding.
• Keep work areas and emergency exits clear.
• Avoid restricted areas and remain clear of power industrial trucks.
• Ability to validate and enter data on a computer.
• Varying shift schedules, including early morning, evening, and weekend assignments.
