Annuity Operations Associate

This is a contract, hybrid position based in St. Cloud, MN.

About the role

The Operations Associate provides administrative support for the Annuity Insurance Department, acting as a liaison between customers, financial professionals, and institutions such as banks, credit unions, and clearing firms. Responsibilities include handling phone, fax, and email inquiries, performing account calculations, conducting research, and delivering phone support.

Responsibilities

• Process daily work associated with the department, including asset movement, account transfers, or new account set-up and maintenance.
• Process routine and complex transactions accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Proactively identify, interpret, and resolve potential problems.
• Independently follow procedures to meet service level agreements and achieve quality metrics.
• Learn, use, and support various financial products, software, and systems.
• Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Administrative, operations, or office experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask across several systems and monitors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable handling phone interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or annuities preferred.
• Financial services operations experience preferred.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Retail customer service experience combined with office support experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
