About the role
We submit an Annual Report to the Charity Commission every year, reflecting on what we’ve built, the lives we’ve touched, and the gaps we’re working to close. This report is a chance to honour the women at the heart of TMM and to show the world why our work matters. We’re looking for volunteers who can help us shape this story with clarity, care, and honesty.
Responsibilities
You’ll support the creation of our 2025–2026 Annual Report, which will include:
- Our structure, governance, and how we operate
- Our objectives and public benefit
- Our activities, achievements, and impact
- A financial review
- Our plans for the future
- Researching and gathering information
- Synthesising content into clear, accessible sections
- Writing or editing copy
- Proofreading for accuracy, tone, and flow
Requirements
You should have an interest in writing, editing, research, or information synthesis, as well as a feel for warm, clear, human language. Attention to detail and a thoughtful approach are also essential. Curiosity about how charities communicate their impact is a plus. If you’re unsure whether you have the right skills, please reach out — care, clarity, and willingness matter more than perfection.
