Responsibilities
- Directs annual giving campaigns for multiple classes to support Culver's Annual Fund goal.
- Solicits Annual Fund gifts and coordinates work assignments and communications surrounding group projects with the Development Office, Alumni Office, and International Development.
- Communicates with constituents via email, phone, and written communication, and ensures impeccable stewardship.
- Manages a flexible schedule that includes limited travel, nights, and weekends, and attends and participates in events to build relationships with alumni and key constituents.
- Recruits, trains, and manages class volunteers, monitors progress towards fundraising goals, and maintains frequent contact with volunteers through meetings, correspondence, and telephone.
- Encourages attendance at all Culver events, provides information and assistance to volunteers, and follows up with volunteers to ensure completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Prepares and distributes call lists, collaborates with the Alumni Office on planning reunion weekend programs, and recruits class leadership.
- Develops fundraising goals and strategies to encourage reunion gifts, attendance, and recruitment of new volunteers, and works in partnership with the Alumni Office on all reunion classes.
- Participates in various clubs and activities, coaches athletic teams, performs student supervisory and chaperone duties, and engages in other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of relevant experience are required.
- The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, exceptional accuracy, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and explain the value of various gift types.
- Computer proficiency, self-direction, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Grant writing experience and direct experience with Culver's summer or winter programs are highly desired qualifications.
