About the role
The Animal Welfare Officer performs duties related to impounding and/or containing, reclaiming or adoptions, and euthanization of stray or nuisance dogs or animals.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in handling animals preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete the State Euthanization course
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be insurable
Pay
Starting salary range: $21.5855 – $22.8556 per hour, with benefits.
