The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Animal Welfare Officer in the Animal Welfare Department. The incumbent performs duties related to impounding and/or containing, reclaiming or adopting, and euthanizing stray or nuisance dogs or animals.
About the role
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in handling animals preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and successfully complete the State Euthanization course.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable.
Qualifications
- Starting Salary Range: Grade F - According to Policy ($21.5855 - $22.8556/hr.) with benefits.
