The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Animal Welfare Officer in the Animal Welfare Department.
Responsibilities
- Impounding and/or containing stray or nuisance dogs or animals
- Reclaiming or adopting out animals
- Euthanizing animals as necessary
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in handling animals preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- Successfully complete the State Euthanization course
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and insurable
Benefits
- Starting Salary Range: Grade F - According to Policy ($21.1622 - $22.4075/hr.)
