About the role
Performs animal control and Code Enforcement duties within the town limits.
Responsibilities
- Responds to animal control and Code Enforcement calls
- Enforces local ordinances and state laws
- Investigates complaints and conducts inspections
- Collaborates with other departments and community members
Requirements
- Valid New Mexico Drivers License with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Animal Control Officer Certification, preferred
- One (1) year of experience as an animal control/Code Enforcement Officer or related field
Qualifications
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet the minimum requirements
