Animal Caretaker

Responsibilities

• Maintain the environment for the animals
• Feed and care for the animals
• Maintain farm sanitation
• Ensure animal health and well-being
• Handle animal movement and document tracking data

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in all daily operations related to the care and feeding of animals
• Ensure the welfare and well-being of the animals at all times
• Adequately feed and supply the animals, adhering to standards for feeding and watering
• Identify and correct any problem areas promptly or report them to the supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure understanding of standards and protocols
• Maintain thorough record-keeping tools for animal management and complete reports on time
• Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and correct environment within barns
• Collaborate with team members to promote a supportive working environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

Special Job Requirements

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
