Angle Roll Operator

About the role

CB&I delivers integrated storage and asset‑management solutions that help customers operate safely, reliably, and efficiently across the lifecycle of their facilities. The Angle Roll Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining angle rolling machines used to bend and form structural steel components, including angles, channels, beams, and other metal sections into precise radius according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate angle roll machines to form structural steel and metal components to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, and machine settings
• Perform machine adjustments to achieve accurate bends, radii, and profiles.
• Measure and inspect completed parts using tapes, calipers, squares, templates, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Safely move materials using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment, as authorized.
• Collaborate with production, welding, and fabrication teams to meet production schedules.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping requirements.
• Assist with other fabrication and manufacturing tasks as needed
• Be willing to perform any designated task and follow instructions.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Normal work environment will be shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.

Qualifications

Typically, 1-3+ years of experience. Strong blueprint reading skills and a solid understanding of geometry and metal properties. Basic mathematical and measurement skills. Ability to use precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
