Anesthetist

About the role

Administers intravenous inhalation and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia to patients undergoing various types of medical procedures.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Monitors patient vital signs and responds to changes in condition.
• Collaborates with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient care.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Anesthesiologist Assistant (AAA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) degree.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year.

Skills

• Proficient in anesthesia administration techniques.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
