About the role
Shore Outpatient Surgicenter offers a high-quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures and is looking for a Per Diem Anesthesiologist to join our community. This well-established facility has been open for 25 years, with many staff members working for more than 10 years. The surgicenter runs 5 rooms (3 Urology and 2 GI) with anesthesia staffing at a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. Our care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping them deliver care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

- 50% of own cases
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
Pay
Hourly Rate: $300/hour
