Anesthesiologist Physician MD/DO Per Diem

About the role

The Anesthesiologist Physician will join the UNC Community Faculty Practice with a competitive salary and benefits. They will work collaboratively in a care-team model with CRNAs and AAs in a community-based, private practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesiology services
• Contribute to obstetric anesthesiology services
• Offer pediatric anesthesiology expertise
• Develop and implement regional anesthesia techniques
• Collaborate with CRNAs and AAs in a care-team model
• Exercise autonomy in a productive private practice setting

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school or DO school
• One or more years of experience preferred
• New trainees are highly welcomed
• Completed an ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency program by the anticipated start date
• American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) certification or eligibility
• North Carolina license or in progress

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• One or more years of experience in anesthesiology
• Completed ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency program
• American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) certification or eligibility
• North Carolina license or in progress
