About the role

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Per-Diem Anesthesiologist to join their growing team at Memorial Hospital Gulfport.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a variety of clinical settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for anesthesia administration
• Assist with the management of perioperative care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Mississippi Medical Licensure
• DEA Registration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledgeable about current anesthesia practices and trends
