Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in SouthwesternTennessee

About the Role

This position is for an MD anesthesiologist providing comprehensive anesthesia services in a busy hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, including general, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, urology, gynecology, transplant, neurological, and cardiac procedures. Specific skills in epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia using ultrasound guidance are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia during inpatient surgeries, including complex procedures such as transplant and cardiac surgeries requiring TEE certification.
• Manage patients of all ages under supervision.
• Perform epidural, spinal, and regional anesthesia techniques with ultrasound guidance.
• Participate in a variable caseload with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology (mandatory).
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques.
• Ability to manage a diverse and variable caseload.
