Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Indiana

About the role

We are seeking a board-certified anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage in a critical access hospital setting. The role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of cases, including OR and OB procedures such as orthopedics, endoscopy, podiatry, general surgery, ENT, and OB (with VBACs performed but no high-risk OB cases).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a range of surgical and procedural cases
• Perform spinals, blocks, and epidurals
• Supervise anesthesia delivery (no hands-on requirement)
• Exercise prescriptive authority
• Maintain on-site presence during assigned hours

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Proficiency in spinals, blocks, and epidurals
• Experience in supervision of anesthesia services

Schedule

• Regular hours: 7 AM to 3 PM
• On-call duties: 3 PM to 7 AM
