Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

An anesthesiologist is needed to provide locum tenens coverage in an inpatient and surgical setting. The role involves supervising CRNAs under a 1 MD to 4 CRNA staffing model and delivering 100% hands-on anesthesia care during 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in an organized operating room environment.
• Supervise CRNAs while maintaining direct involvement in patient care.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation.
• Support a variety of patient ages and case types.

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology required.
• Experience with inpatient and surgical anesthesia.
• Ability to work independently and supervise staff.

Additional Details

Support staff includes 1 MD and 4 CRNAs. On-site location in Midlothian, Virginia, offering diverse recreational and cultural activities. Negotiable call coverage and variable patient load.
