About the role
This position is for a licensed and board-certified MD specializing in anesthesia, providing services in a hospital with 20 operating rooms across various specialties including general, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, obstetric, and pediatric procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care during day shifts, supervising CRNAs under a supervision model.
- Maintain clinical documentation via the Epic EMR system.
- Manage a broad case mix with approximately 75% hands-on involvement.
- Cover a variety of patient ages and procedures in an on-site setting.
- Participate in variable case loads and potentially some call coverage (negotiable).
Qualifications
- Board certification in anesthesiology.
- Ability to supervise CRNAs effectively.
- Experience with diverse surgical procedures and patient populations.
