About the role
Join us as a board certified or residency trained Anesthesiologist at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital. You’ll be part of a supportive team with world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a talented group of veterinarians.
Responsibilities
- Provide world-class medicine in a 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice hospital setting.
- Collaborate with a staff of over 30 veterinarians specializing in various fields including internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, oncology, radiology, dermatology, avian & exotic, behavior, and rehabilitation/integrative medicine.
- Work in a 28,000 square foot, state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced technology.
- Participate in rotating and specialty internship programs.
- Teach professional students and interns.
- Engage in clinically relevant research projects.
- Access a network of specialists within VCA Weymouth.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state, or the ability to obtain a license.
- Residency trained or Diplomate Board Certification.
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state, or the ability to obtain a license.
- Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $220,000 to $240,000. This position is also eligible for production/commission and other variable pay programs.
