Position Highlights & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
- Serve as a resource to Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
- Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to provide 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
