About the role

MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine is seeking a Part‑Time Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collegial team of experienced anesthesiologists and support staff. The position offers a physician‑only practice with access to fully integrated Epic EMR and advanced technologies. Responsibilities

• Provide 100% anesthesia for assigned cases.
• Maintain rapid case turnover and efficiently manage a fluctuating surgical schedule.
• Adapt daily to changing case volumes and priorities.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active, unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Skills

• Comfortable delivering independent anesthetic care.
• Able to keep pace with high‑volume, rapid‑turnover environments.
• Flexible and responsive to daily schedule changes.
• Proficient with integrated electronic medical record systems (Epic).
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.

Pay

The annual base salary for this 0.5 FTE position is $257,500.

Schedule

Flexible part‑time schedule, sharing a full‑time load with another anesthesiologist.
